Just simply drag & drop a file or folder to the Easy Desktop main interface, choose an icon and a caption and press "Save". You are now able to run the file or open the folder directly out from Easy Desktop. It is also possible for you to setup and work with some special system folders (e. x. control panel).

Integrated application switcher

Easy Desktop has a build-in application switcher called "Easyswitcher" which will bring you the functionality for fast-switching between other open windows (e. x. browser windows).

Multifarious interface settings

Change colors, font and personal style - Easy Desktop has build-in functions to setup the main interface in your own personal style.

Multi-language support

Easy Desktop comes with support for various languages and makes it easy for you to translate the whole application into your favorite language.

Windows desktop-integration

Easy Desktop also supports some functions to change the Windows desktop. It's possible to hide the regular desktop icons or the Windows taskbar while using Easy Desktop for a better integration in your desktop environment.

Hotkey support

A build-in hotkey function makes it easy for you to bring the main dialog of Easy Desktop to the foreground while working in other applications - simply press "ALT " + "W" on your keyboard.

Create your own or choose from various themes to change the Easy Desktop interface in the way you like.

Integrated webcam support

Easy Desktop supports your webcam with an integrated webcam viewer which makes it possible to save pictures in various image format.

Easy setup

Easy Desktop doesn't requires an installation. If you downloaded the zip-file from our server, simply extract this file and run the included exe-file to start Easy Desktop. It's also possible to download a setup-file for automatic installation. Please note that both ways requires an installed Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 on Windows XP machines. You won't need to install the Framework if you run Windows Vista (build-in Framework).

Designed for use with UMPCs

Of course, you can run Easy Desktop on all kinds of computers. Based on the fact that UMPCs normally comes with small LCD displays, Easy Desktop is predestined to be your favorite desktop application when using UMPCs. Easy Desktop supports the Asus eee PC series and all UMPC models from manufactures like MSI Wind, Dell Inspiron Mini (Dell E), Acer Aspire, HP Mini-Note 2133, ECS-G10L and many more.
